Deadly Camp 2003
Hong Kong 2003
Directed by Edmond Yuen.

The owner of a small advertising company (Tony Ho) has an affair with his client, a Japanese model (Ohsako Yumi). They head off to a deserted island for a photo shoot, along with the rest of the company, which consists of his girlfriend, her brother, and her friend (Tiffany Cheung, Jeff Kam, and Gloria Wong), and while they are there manage to piss off three brothers, who are retarded, depraved, and insane (one each). Shortly afterwards, people start getting killed. As is increasingly the case with Digital Video, Category III productions from Hong Kong, the nudity is outsourced to the Japanese actress, who handles it exclusively. Gore is likewise kept to a minimum. But the movie's depiction of mental handicap is grotesque, a scene in which the retarded character fondles and drools on a tied-up Ohsako Yumi being the most obvious, and most depraved, example. I'm sorry I watched it. On the very, very small plus side, Onitsuke and Mr. Nine, regulars from the TROUBLESOME NIGHT series, make cameos as rather ineffective police officers, and the always disturbed Samuel Leung is one of the sickos in the woods.
