Devil Butcher, The
Hong Kong 2003
Directed by Kenneth Lau.

This DV production has a number of english titles. The disc is advertised as "Kowloon Sky -- Devil Killer," the DVD has "Devil Killer" printed on it, while the movie itself begins with "The Devil Butcher." But no matter what it's official title, it's still utter garbage. No butchery actually takes place. Nor, for that matter, does anything else. Sex starlets Grace Lam and Sophie Ngan appear, but do nothing. Lam spends much of the running time standing outside chatting with a friend, while Ngan, sporting a red wig, spends her time in front of a computer. No nudity, no gore, no violence, no action, and no subtitles. Apparently the filmmakers decided watching everyone stand around talking for an hour wasn't boring enough -- the movie ends with several of the cast members talking directly to the audience, no doubt describing the real story the movie is based on.
