My Horny Girlfriend
Hong Kong 2003
Directed by Patrick Leung.

Grace Lam fans, rejoyce. She disrobes early and often, and, unusual for an erotic Hong Kong film, some of the sex scenes are actually intense and erotic. The plot, on the other hand, is disposable.

Lam is grossed out by her fat sweaty boss and tired of sleeping with him to get promoted (not that that stops her). She opts for a vacation, and falls for a lifeguard who rescues her from drowning. She decides to join her lifeguard class, in which she competes for his affection with chesty Japanese actress Yumi Hirono. Yumi distracts Lam from her quest with some naughty girl on girl action, then, about halfway through the picture, with a three way with the two girls and Eddie Lam, one which they perform with admirable enthusiasm. It's all downhill from there as the plot needs time to wrap up, though Grace does have time for a bottomless sex scene at the end. MY HORNY GIRLFRIEND is unusual for Grace Lam in two ways -- a bottomless scene when she usually keeps her panties on, and the occasional look of enthusiasm on her face when usually she just looks bored and not just a little disgusted during sex scenes (She always looked happiest pleasuring herself. And really, who could blame her?).

Grace Lam has announced that this was her last CAT III film. Perhaps because of that she decided to go for it once and for all. Grace Lam is a petite beauty, whose nipples stand up so tall they would be the perfect effect in an erotic 3D movie. These particular talents get a full showcase here. One scene in particular involves fantasy sex in a jail cell, her nipples pressed up between the bars, as if they could reach for a set of keys on a hook opposite. Lam may have decided to cover up from now on, but at least she's given her fans something to remember.

Despite this and other scenes, MY HORNY GIRLFRIEND is still not a very good movie. I've not even mentioned the serious subplot involving Bessie Chan. Why should I? It's so boring it doesn't deserve a mention. Shot on digital video.
