Psychedelic Cop
Hong Kong 2002
Directed by Bosco Lam.

This movie has become legendary for its low box office. After a week in the theater, it screened to exactly 10 people, giving it a worldwide standing as one of the poorest performing films of all time. You can joke about it, that's fine, but let's get one thing perfectly clear: there were plenty of movies released this year even worse than this one. On the other hand, PSYCHEDELIC COP isn't particularly good, either, concerning undercover Lee Wai Sheung, trying to get close to his triad boss and informing to Danny Lee. Meanwhile a masked killer who uses a samurai sword keeps massacreing a lot of baddies. It doesn't take long to figure out that it's Lee Wai Sheung under that mask. Something about a childhood trauma that makes him go nuts every time he hears the sound of a siren. Not exactly the best trait in a police officer, you've got to wonder how nobody noticed him going batshit like that before. Shot on video.
