Summer Breeze of Love
Hong Kong 2002
Directed by Joe Ma.

Sometimes these movies make me feel old. This time around we watch the end of summer, with friends Gillian Cheung and Charlene Choi of the canto pop band TWINS falling in love and maturing a tad. Gillian falls for a 40 year old guy, played by Dave Wang, who is too much of a wimp to do anything about it and still lives with his mom. Meanwhile, Charlene falls for cool guy Tsui Tin Yau (of the boy band SHINE) but discovers he's got quite a list of girls pining for him. There isn't anything wrong with the movie that I can put my finger on, it's just that it is geared toward 16 year old girls. Since I'm not the target audience, the movie is not particularly interesting.

Rating: Marginally Recommended (Marginally Recommended)
