Michael Chow is on the trail of a serial murderer who rapes and kills his victims in gardens around Hong Kong. He obsesses endlessly over the case and even gets a vengeful ghost to help him solve it, but the solution is so patently obvious I can only assume he is just plain lousy at detective work and should maybe switch to being a traffic cop instead. Michael Chow doesn't have a whole lot of charisma, and it becomes painfully obvious here, as he hopelessly fumbles about as the forgettable star of a forgettable movie. The script is inane and the production as a whole lacks originality. Shot on video. First in what perhaps was hoped to be a competing horror franchise to the TROUBLESOME NIGHT series. Don't think it's going to happen.
